How the cooperative handles personal data

The cooperative processes members' names, addresses, apartment numbers and contact details, as well as information about ownership shares, pledges and transfers, in order to fulfil its obligations under the Swedish Housing Cooperatives Act (bostadsrättslagen) – the register of members and the apartment register – and to be able to inform members. The data is kept for as long as you are a member; financial data is then kept for seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act, and data in the apartment register for as long as the law requires. Kanold Redovisning AB processes the data on the cooperative's behalf. The Facebook group is voluntary and is run on Facebook's terms. You have the right to know what data the cooperative holds about you and to have incorrect data corrected: contact the board at styrelsenhvilan@gmail.com.
