Long-term radon measurement
As part of the cooperative's monitoring of the indoor environment, and to meet the authorities' measurement requirements, a short-term radon measurement was carried out in the spring. A long-term measurement now follows: the board will distribute radon detectors to the apartments concerned during November, and the measurement will run for at least three months over the winter. Information about the mandatory ventilation inspection (OVK)
The cooperative's OVK inspection has been carried out in most of the apartments. The board is now following up the results together with the contractor Hemkomfort. Remedial work in the apartments that received remarks began on 20 October. Apartments that could not be inspected will at the same time be notified of a new inspection time. Defects relating to the cooperative's ducts and fans will be remedied by the cooperative; defects caused by installations in members' own apartments, such as incorrectly connected kitchen extractor fans, must be remedied by the member.
For the cooperative to obtain an approved OVK report, it is important that all apartments are inspected. Questions are answered by the board at styrelsenhvilan@gmail.com.
